If You see this please respond. I just got a 700P .308 with the same scope and bipod as yours. I would like to know what kind of recoil pad that gun has and where I can get one like it. If anyone else knows I would be very grateful.

I believe Cheaptrick is correct -- I'm pretty sure it's a Limbsaver pad.  Remington uses their recoil pads on several of their rifles.  Limbsaver is the same company that makes rubber vibration dampeners and stabilizers for archery equipment.  You can get them presized for various popular factory rifles at places like Cabelas, Sportsmans' Warehouse, as well as order them online.

No, it's longer than that with a pad on the side. Also, it needs to fit the HS precision stock that comes on a 700P

???

I have one of these on my Remington 700 w/ HS Stock. It isn't a recoil pad though.
