Koskin - I'm looking forward to your review. I've got the bang-for-the-buck model, an Sll 3-9X42. It's sitting on a light weight 270 WSM that is a bit of a flame thrower. It's working very well there. If the Big Sky is a significant upgrade, I'm interested.

I can't speak about the new Weavers but the older K's were durable. I would think that the .340 would kick near as much as a .375H&H. I might be more of a stock crawler than the fellow with the .340Wby so the 4200 may be worth a shot. From what I've read around here the Sightron's are a very good scope and I would be more comfortable with their 4" of eye relief. I have Leupold 1.75-5 V-III on my .375 and it is very generous with eye relief. That scope loses some FOV versus some of these other scopes due to that. |

Hi BobH............................Talked to my shooting buddy who owns the 340 Wby. w/ the Elite 4200!!!!........No problems, as far as any eye relief problems are concerned. No problems with holding zero either!!!............................Good luck............Big Squeeze!
