I decided to buy new rings for my Tikka T3 lite 22-250.  What are the best rings?  And what type or style should I buy.  The gun is drilled for "regular rings"  and then they have the other type which I do not know the name "weaver?" that go directly on the gun.   Little help here for a newbie.  Scope is a 6-20X50 Conquest if that matters.

Thanks a bunch, the scope is due to arrive today.  So I want to put it on ASAP and fire.  By the way, can I sight it in during the break in process after getting it boresighted?

I use Warne rings on my TIkka.  THey are made of steel and are not exactly lightweight, but they will probably outlive me.  Tough and well made rings.

this past friday I installed a set of Talleys on my Tikka T3 hunter 270 WSM, topped off with a Sightron SII 3.5-20x50. I used Winchester silver tips 130gr and with only 5 shots fired the last 3 were Sub MOA.

I love talley one piece rings. I only had to lap for about 5-8 mins and the alignment bars looked great.

Thanks for the feedback.  I really had no choice because Sportsman wharehouse only had Warne rings, after an extensive search in the store.  Oh boy, I do love them.  They look great and they seem very sturdy.

Thanks again guys.

I had stripped torx screw heads a use Tikka I just bought.  It took some careful jiggling and fussing to get them off.  SWH didn't have screws.  So I replaced the rings.  I got the Weaver, steel rings disigned for the Tikka.  They're a little zany to get on, and they're heavy.   But fit great.
