Lots of info on Barska already.  Type in "Barska" in the search facility in the Topic Subject field.  Most of the comments are pretty negative.

Barska is known as a cheap low end scope, you can do a search on the forums and read up on them but generally your better off buying a more repitable brand.

What is up with Canada.  Have they banned scopes?  What are the gun laws?

we have no problem importing scope rings or scopes , triggers and such , the problem is the business exporting ,,,,,,  there for we are forced to pay what the stores are asking in price since we cant get them cheaper from you fellas in the south , example canada customs allows us to be able to bring back , 5000 rounds of ammo per person , home land security  law forbids non us residents from posessing ammo unless for hunting with proper permits, no more going to gun shows and getting supplies ,,,,,,,

You get what you pay for...I got one (6-24x) as a promotion piece.....I'm saving it for a AR .22 conversion kit and imagine it will just just fine for that....they are not serious equipment....they do look more hoo-ah than a chinese Walmart 3x9

i guess if it was for a 22 rim fire i might think about buying one, but i doubt i would, seems like a tasco to me, in my world there are two things you never ever scrimp on one is your feet the other is your eyes, i wear the best boots redwing shoe co makes and i when i hunt i use cabelas preditor pac boots good to like -150 for my eyes i wear oakley polarized sunglasses and i dont use any cheapo scopes like barska tasco etc. but at the same time i dont have a house full of $1000 + scopes either.

well im not paying $3000.00 for a scope  that i could get for $1500.00 if the state department didnt lock the border down to exports  , the stores here know we cant get stuff individually so they are ripping us off ,, if or when the barska dies ill buy adifferent scope till then im laughing ,
