HAS ANYONE EVER LOADED THIS 155GR.SCENAR BY LAPUA.I'M HAVEING
TROUBLE FINDING A LOAD TO SHOOT GOOD.

WHAT I HAVE TRIED

VARGET,44 GR. 45.5 GR. 46 GR.   PRIMER-REM.9 1/2 - FED GOLD MED. MATCH
OAL- 2.8
CASE -WINCHESTER BRASS @ 2.005
HAVE ALSO TRIED RELOADER 15 SAME LOADS.IT JUST WILL GET UNDER 1MOA @ 100 YD.

Your shooting a .308??

 

I used 47gr. of Varget for 155gr. Scenar's in my 308.

Federal 210M primers or CCI BR-2. 

Sub MOA.

ya. a rem. 700p in 308 26" tube.
i gess the more the better,47gr.,thats a full case.
my sons 260 is that way.the case is some what packed
to make it shoot under 1 moa.

what is your OAL,

LB, I load mine at 2.950.

 

Actually, I loaded some up to 47.5gr. with no ill effects. Accuracy was no better with that load than the 47gr.

 

Your rifle has the same twist (12) as my VS, so it should like the 155gr. Scenars, or so I would think.

i'll give them a try when i get home.i still have one
week to go on my hitch.i'll get some vel.on the load
with my croney.i'm told it should be around 3000 fps.
if the load will shoot .5moa i'll get some data on it
out to 1000yd. mark.i also got me one of them eagle stock
cheek pieces, there nice.i should have a double gun drag bag
when i get home,i got my wife to order it for my anniversary
comeing up in May.i hope to get me a black gun also,hopefully
sometime in April.thinking on stagarms,a lefty,or get a righty
in bushmaster,or dpms i don't know yet witch one it will be.
anyway thank for the help.

I was around 2985 fps.
