I have the RCBS Case Trimmer II.

Good product and fairly inexpensive.

I have an RCBS case trimmer II and it works very well. Aslo have the neck turning attachment. A bit expensive, but a quality product. Another I would coonsider is Forester.

i used a forester when i first started out, now that i have been away from my folk for years i just barely got around to getting my own reloading stuff and the case trimmer is about the only tool i need, the forester was nice and compact and universal and of good quality.

I bought a Lyman case trimmer and had a problem with it, took it back and got the RCBS.

I don't remember what went wrong on the Lymans though....

I have the Redding collet style standard case trimmer, and it has worked well for me.  I also had a Forster case trimmer, but it got damaged in a move a few years ago.  I liked it as well.

I prefer the Redding because it has a cast iron frame, has plenty of adjustment length for even the longest cases, includes a "universal" collet that adjusts to all rifle and pistol cases using the same collet, and also comes with pilots for the cutter for .22, 6mm, .25, .277, 7mm, and .30, plus primer pocket cleaners.  It costs about $75.  Redding also makes a "match" version that comes with a micrometer length adjustment head.

thing that kills me is that a lot of the trimmers skip the 6.5mm pilots, thats why i liked the forster so much it was universal.

You can buy extra pilots for other calibers not included in the kit.  The Redding is different in that the cutter is stationary and the case rotates, like a lathe.
