What do you consider good eatin when it come to fresh water fish?
We fish for Striper, sandbass and crappie! Love sandbass, but I really love crappie!
I will pass on carp, don't really know if you can eat alligator gar <-----still would not eat it! |

Picked catfish cause that's the only one on you list that we have in Ontario. Not sure if sandbass are the same as our bass or not - excellent eating if they are. Vote also goes to pickerel (walleye) - great tasting!

What? No crawdads?
Uncle Silver is more into large mouth bass. Salmon is my favorite, but it is not local. |

alright here is how you cook some good trout.
First catch trout of your likeing. the debowl it and head it. then take alumanum foil and make you a few trays to be place on a grill with low heat. put fish in tray with a good bit of butter. let cook for about 10 minutes then garnish with crazy janes salt mix on all sides and let cook for another 10 minutes or so untill done.
and walha eat away with corn and other vigges.
but you can also cook them in the grill with fish just in different tray .

Chew? They are the base for hot sause. They are also great in cornbread dressing with the holiday turkey. You did not get one of those mountain oysters did you?
Scallops lightly cooked in butter with scallons and garlic served on lingune... fresh shrimp... Blackend grouper... I miss living on the gulf coast
