Hello, I have been looking at a new scope for my ar. The main purpose of this scope is for coyote hunting in low to no light conditions. I have been looking at the bushnell banner with illuminated mil dot reticle in 3-9x40. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or the banner dusk and dawn series in general. I wont use this scope very much and cant justify paying a lot for it. The ar usually has an eotech on it, so I am not willing to spend another $500 for a second scope. I have expensive scopes on my .308 and 50bmg, I dont want another one. I also dont want to lose my zero on the scopes I have (I buy each scope for the particular gun). Any feedback would be helpful, also would be interested in other scopes (preferably illuminated, and adjustable magnification) in that price range. Thanks |

I have also looked at the truglo scopes. I have the 2X red dot and love it. Anyone heard about or tried their scopes, they seem like a new company to me (I have only just begun to see their scopes).

Thank you, any idea on the bushnell banners? It was my understanding that all (bushnell) of their scopes are now made in china also. |

Bushnel 3200 and 4200 are good, they are made in Japan. I would not recommend any other of thier scopes.

Can't speak for the Banner line but I have a Trophy that I bought on the recommendation of a local guy in a small gun store & have been very pleased with it.

Got the bushnell in, not the greatest scope. However, it will work well for the three days a year I plan on using it. I really like the illuminated reticle for night hunting. With the extra money, I got a second scope for my ar 50. I got the super sniper 20x and love it. Thanks everyone for your input, greatly appreciated.
