I have a 10X Super Sniper on the way. I would like to know if it is possible to mark the elevation MOA adjust knob with arrows to denote particular distances? This would greatly help at the specific distances at the local ranges. I understand that more than 1 turn will be required at long distances, so is there a way to make this happen? Maybe color code an arrow and a line or dot on the scope?
Thanks

Hello.
Congrats on getting a SS. I love mine.
You could always tape a card on the rear of your stock, or place a small piece of paper on the inside of your ocular Butler Creek flip up cap with your rifles come ups written on them. |

That is exactly what I was trying to avoid. My thought was to have the arrows or dots line up at specific distances.
I will have to study the situation, but I am thinking tiny colored squares that line up would do. It could be done with a clear label maker.

If you are willing to invest a little more in your SS, these people http://www.kentonindustries.com/ produce custom marked turrets for various model scopes including SS. You can give them the ballistic info on the particular ammo you are using or give them actual click adjustments for the different ranges from your shooting experience.

Henry455,
That is exactly what I would like. A custom setup like that may be just the ticket.
Still, what do you think of the colored squares? I kinda like that idea. Gets you in the ballpark without any calculations. My wife would really be able to use such a setup. However she really wants a 50 cal. Not this little 308 stuff.
