Now that almost everyone has had a great time calling almost everyother one else out-maybe something fun.

What is the wildest- most unbelievable , most unprobable shot you have made or have ever seen made. You know the one-- aiming at a fly on the target and actually hit it-hit a flying duck with the deer gun (pretend I didn't say that).

When I was a kid I hit a swallow out of the air with a single BB from a Crossman 760. That is a protected bird, by the way. Kids do stupid things.

I once watched a guy shoot a crow out of the sky at well over 200 yards with a 4" .22 LR S&W revolver.

It was absolute, total, unadulterated luck - a fact to which the individual in question readily admits but, it was still pretty cool when he shot and the bird took a tumble.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

I was very young and all exited because I  had got my first Mark 4,we were shooting at 200yrds at a public range and had traveled very far to get there. The Rangemaster interupted the range shortly after our arrival with some deer contest to shoot at a fake dear on a rail, he promised that it would only take a hour, the fake deer was held by two posts. One hour goes bye then another so one of my friends went to talk to him and he was a total prick. Got my rifle ready and as soon as the dear came out I took a shot at the post and hit the rear post, the fake dear went limp.

The rangemaster had to stop the contest and let everyone shoot again but thrreated and almost kicked everybody out. This was not my best shot but one that I truly enjoyed.

While hiking in a canyon near LA, my brothers and I had some gang banger wannabes shooting at a prestone can across the ravine we were walking in. They wouldn't stop to let us pass. One of my brothers quick drew a peacemaker and shot from the hip, from about eighty yards, the prestone jug landed out of sight over the top of the ravine. They stopped shooting put the SKS down and let us by.  We were all armed but they really did want to see that peacemaker talk again.  I asked Tom to try that again some time later, he laughed and said it was a one in a million shot. But it got their attention.

I gotta go with shooting clays out of a hand trap with a 375 H&H to pass the time at Elk camp one year. A friend (expert trap shooter) actually shot about 50%!

My cousin hit a dragon fly out of the air with a BB gun from about 25 yards away. Was funny because he said "hey I'm going to hit that dragon fly out of the air".

I saw my dad shoot a dove out of the air with a Mini-14.  His buddy was giving him a hard time about being a good shot and said, "I'd really be impressed if you shot that dove out of the air".  He shot and it fell, then his buddy said, "ok, do it again".  My dad said, "nope, just one a day ".

I shot my biggest pronghorn on the run.  I missed him while he was standing still at about 150 yds, then he took off at a fast lope and I shot right under him at about 200 yds., then he really took off running and I didn't lead him enough and hit right behind him at around 300 yds.  He shifted into over drive and I got up off the ground and ran full speed to cut the distance down some and with the last round in my rifle I led so far in front of him and so high that he was not even in the scope, I pulled the trigger and after what seemed like an eternity, I heard that unmistakable THUMP.  We ranged it afterwards right at 400 yards.  The .260 hit him right in the neck and made him spin before dropping.  The ground was completely saturated with blood in an almost perfect circle the size of one of those blue Wal-Mart kiddie pools.  My hunting partner which was our Simmons rep at the time was watching the whole thing from a distant hill and could not believe what he saw, neither could I.  The pronghorn ended up being a book animal.

We were chasing rabbits with a jeep and I had a ruger 10-22 on a rifle rack above the windshield. My buddy was shooting hanging out the passenger window while I drove. We chased the rabbit up to a fence and the rabbit took a sharp left as we sild up to the fence. I grabbed the 22 and rapidly shot three times nailing the rabbit.

I was hunting with a winchester 30-30 from a blind at Rocksprings and a buck ran past the blind  left to right at about 30 yards. I picked up the rifle right handed  and when the barrel got to the corner of the blind I threw the rifle to my left shoulder shot out the second window and shot the deer on the run.

was camping in yosemite with my family, my sister threw a rock at a bird and missed the bird and nailed a squirrel about 5 yds behind it, we didn't even notice it until it tumbled around, looking verry dizzy, he sort of flopped into a bush.
