Chris, I heard that the new Monarch would be side focus, but the Monarch X?? would have 30mm tubes like the Nikon Tactical.

The Tactical line was renamed Monarch X and you are correct they do use a 30mm tube. |

Thanks, Roy. It will be interesting to see what they look like. They do have a wide field of view in the 8x42 model (same as Vortex Razor, I think).

Depends on the brand of rings, the brand of rifle, the caliber, where you need the ocular to be, etc. There are too many variables involved for their to be a YES or NO answer. |

I see that Leica is planning to venture into the riflescope market again. Does anyone out there know if Leica is building the riflescopes themselves in Germany or if they are farming out there work like the last time they sold riflescopes which was a joint venture with Leupold. I am hoping the Leica will be of the quality of a S&B or Zeiss Diavari.

Chris, have you all ever thought of a 6x42 fixed SuperSniper?
just curious. i am torn on what to get for my .223 remington 700P. any suggestions? i won't shoot beyond 300 or 400 yrds, probably.
