+1, I do not have high expectations of this new Swarovski Tactical scope, lets wait and see what they can put together and at what price. |

Koshkin, Nope, its not a new tactical line. Swarovski is leaving that to Kahles, which will be launching a new line next year under the famed ZF badge.
Dale, You sure your not thinkging about the Zeiss Conquest with its plastic covers?
SVD, You will be impressed.
Anymore guesses guys? I'm awaiting permission from Swarovski of North America (SONA). But if ya'll guess what it is, then they can't say that we leaked it. There is a really big clue in there teaser ad, linked above. |

Swarovski has put a Z in front of thier tactical scope models before so I automatically thought this was the case. Can it be a day/night scope? Thermal, Holographic, special element glass? I am very curious. Great post Chris. |

Really big vlue? I am probably missing it, then.
Does six imply a 6x erector? not new, since IOR is doing it. Fully digital scope? There is Elcan Digital Hunter. Fully digital binoculars perhaps? I give up. ILya |

My first thought is that they are upgrading the glass in a new line of scopes or binos to HD or FL glass which they probably need to do to stay at or near the top. It seems they are getting passed by Leica, Zeiss, Kahles CL, and Schmidt & Bender.
On Chris's clue, I then thought they may be coming out with a digital rangfinding bino or scope.
Whatever it is one thing is sure. Swarovski puts there money into brilliant marketing strategies. With everyone guessing on what it is, it will create enough buzz and attention, that many people with assume its better and have to have it. I am no different. I don't have any idea what it is but I am calling SWFA tomorrow, trading my current Swaros in and pre-ordering a Z6. I can't wait till it comes in. |

Maybe a multi-zero scope, like Kahles.

The clue is what forum it is in, the Riflescope forum.
It is a new riflescope line and three people have guessed it correct. Edited by Chris |
