Afternoon gents
I want to destroy something REALLY BAD. Problem is, I can't get a hold of the things I could get away with destroying, and I don't want to go to jail for the things I can get a hold of. Other than that, I'm good.

At your age couldn't you claim being senile and just be put in a plush old folks home for any acts such as that BF?

Evening gents
I feel the same today as yesterday. I understand the motor gangs of the 30's much better now, and I have more sympathy for them. I don't condone their actions, but I do understand their feelings. In part, they didn't rob banks just to get rich quick. They robbed banks to get even for what they had done to, and how they treated the common folk. Doesn't justify what they did, but I understand how they could justify it. They were still bad people and deserved what they got, but I understand. Boy do I understand.

This is true G. So far I have been tickled with my new credit union. They have been very helpful and friendly. I might also recommend an identity theft protection plan that covers financial loss in the event of fraud. Mornin gents It's pleasantly cool, but overcast today. I've seen more deer signs and deer this past week, but nothing to indicate any big bucks are around. I've seen some 4 pointers, and decent does, but the scrapes are small. The dogs have chased deer almost every time I walk them. This worries me because they're older now and the gullies are deep and steep, and that's where the deer run to. Down one side and up the other. I'm afraid one of them may stroke out on me.

When I was a boy (?....well I'm STILL a guy...) anyway, my dog used to SMILE whenever he got into trouble. Or we would tease him and tell him "You're a bad dog!" and he would wiggle and waggle and grin and show his teeth and wag his tail like crazy!
Of course he knew we were playing!

We just came in from a Halloween party. our dogs greeted us with smiles and guilty faces'. We knew something was up. Sure enough, they got the bag of dog treats that I had just opened before we left, off the kitchen counter and ate them. They are going to be disappointed tomorrow evening at treat time. Oh well.
Evening gents

Dogs will be boys...
One Halloween the children responsible for putting up all the candy left a bag out and one of my Samoyeds (one of 5), very naughty boy named Anacalagon, ate an entire bag of Three Musketeers chocolate bars. Took him to the vet, no signs of any issues, he made it OK, never seemed to have any problems from it. After that, we had to take great care to keep chocolate away from him... he learned to open doors with his mouth and he learned how to unlatch the pantry. Never kept much candy around anyway, but definitely had to be on guard with Ancalagon around. (Named after a dragon from J.R.R Tolkien's "The Silmarillion" stories) |
