HEY! If it's a Case International hay baler, It's not that old. Case bought the International farm equipment division, back in the 80's or 90's. Of course that depends on your definition of old.

I used to own the first Case 450 dozer with 6-way blade built in 1975... until my wife decided I needed a tractor instead of a dozer... big mistake...

One time in the Summer of 1966 I had a surprise visit from our Band Instructor from High School. He just drove into the driveway and the dogs went freakin' insane!
He was out showing off his NEW CAR and said he was driving around visiting all the people in the Band. I didn't even know how he knew how to get to our farm. He was driving a BRAND-SPANKING NEW Olds Toronado! They had just come out and he had one! He was a Car Freak. He was single, lived with his Mom and was a real narcissist! He always dressed real fine and had NICE cars. Anyway, I was up at the barn in my BARN CLOTHES! I looked like a Goddam hillbilly. I felt totally foolish standing there talking to Mr What's-His-Name with my old dirty work clothes on. I never forgot that. The car was gorgeous. ( Decades later I looked him up on Google...I found his Obituary. He had died in South Carolina in like 2005 or something and was survived by a companion named Bruce.... ) I knew something was up way back in the 60s.... |

Probably wanted to take you for a ride in his new car and give you your fist lesson on playing the flute.
Them smelly old work clothes probably kept you from making an A in band.
