Hay im new here and from New Zealand

I was wondering if anyone has used a NZ hunter 4-16x40 illuminated reticle scope before?

If so how did it perform?

Thanks

Welcome Anschutz

I have not seen this scope yet in the US but what I can tell by the construction and the price, chances are

it is not that good. I would stick with a name brand and spend a little more money. This will problably

save you money in the long run. Let us know what else is available in your area and within your budget.

Welcome to The OT!!

Don't skimp on a lit reticle!!

A cheap illuminated reticle is far worse than none at all.

Do you hunt at night in New Zealand, or why do you feel compelled to have a illuminated reticle, if you don't mind me asking??

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

I'd already bought it before I asked here and i've put it on a .303 and it shoots fine, so far at least

I will be doing alot of deer hunting at night with a spotlight and thought the ill reticle may help.

Will keep ya posted on how it goes

Cheers for the help

ok as you know I put it on a .303. I went down and tried it out last weekend It shot a 1.5 - 2 inch group at 100meters which is pretty good for an old rifle as well
