Have heard lots of good reviews on these binos. Just wondering if they would be any significant improvement over my 10 yr old Pentax 10 x 43 DCF SP's?

Thanks in advance for any replies and suggestions!

If you took all the optical “improvements” of a half dozen so called “alpha” binoculars ... made over the last 10 years, the chances are good you could easily pick the one you liked best. Being able to quantify the improvement is quite another story. Although improvements are a never-ending topic on binocular forums, quantifiable improvements almost always take a back seat to physiological opinions and one-upmanship.

Never buy on the strength of an article or guru’s opinion. Let them point you in a direction. But see the product in the store and let that shape your opinion; YOURS is the only one that counts. Save your money until YOU see a reason to change. OUR Hobby is full of clueless experts willing to spend YOUR money on the binocular THEY would like to own. Yippee
