It is interesting that the windage is on the left and parallax is on the right. That is an unusual configuration for a short intended for boltgun use.
I am curious who makes it for them. ILya |

That would be my question. Also I would guess probably illuminated rather than parallax but the website description is rubbish.

"It is constructed on a 34-inch tube and has been designed to sit perfectly on the Highland Stalker"
I don’t understand the underlined bit at all… Highland Stalker is their .30-’06, 7x57 etc type rifle |

It is both parallax and illumination, I think. Definitely parallax (I zoomed in on one of the images). I think you will have to buy one. Otherwise, I do not see how we will get any of the significant details. ILya

The machining on the turrets looks great. I bet the power change ring is tough to use with gloves. And the leather covers do look swanky, I'd be pissed when I lost them in the field - which would probably happen the first time out. I am always wary of scopes by companies that specialize in something else. Yes, BMW makes a great car, but do I want a BMW blender? For that coin, I'd buy a scope from a very respected maker of great scopes. And you'd still probably have some money left over.

That's a beautifully made scope!
RC, in fairness, most optics companies don't actually manufacture the scopes they sell anyway; they have one of the big players manufacture it for them and they slap their logo on it. This also applies to companies who specialize in one thing and offer other products in totally different categories as well. If I were placing bets, I'd wager that scope is actually made by S&B, just based on design clues.

That's my thought. There's a lot of £££ there in the rigby name The Zeiss V8 1.4-15x50 with the ASV elevation turret can be had for ~£2,400 in the UK. I'm not sure the Rigby is going to be and extra £1k of scope...

Perhaps my point was more sideways than straight-on. Rigby doesn't make the scope, but their name on it costs more than the version without their name. A BMW blender wouldn't be made by BMW, it'd be a KitchenAid blender with a $75 BMW logo. If S&B makes it, it will be a great scope; however, if that relationship sours, who warranties the scope? If you want an S&B scope, buy an S&B scope. But it won't have that pretty "RR" logo.
