Any down side running a riser?
Picked up a Trijicon Reflex II 1x42 and was planning on mounting in my Tavor. As expected, cheek weld is tight. Options are to replace the top rail with an aftermarket version, but you lose the rear or both integrated sights depending on the length of rail you get. A number of options on SWFA that will give me the additional 1/2" needed.

No downside to a riser - none I am aware of.

No downside. Just don't get the cheapest one you can find. The really cheap ones have terrible mounting hardware and strip/break easily.
