I had to use Burris customer service about a year ago.  My old Made in US 4x20 Compact, fogged up.

I filled out the form and sent it in.  Got it back in about 2.5-3 weeks, all fixed with a brief description of the work done.

I am going to go out on a limb and assume your experience was different...

Several phone calls made to CS never answered phone. Several emails sent to CS and never replied to.
I guess in fairness, I can't really say the Burris CS sucks...because I never did get through to them.

Just out of curiosity, how long ago was that?

Are you sure about that?  I am pretty sure I heard this story before, right around the time you and I had our formerly infamous Nikonitis discussion.  That was circa 2006...

No, Sir. It was in reference to the Shot-Cam. It came without any battery whatsoever. I had it for a while, never took it out of the box and then sold it to a guy on here and he contacted me and informed me that it didn't have one. It was possibly 5 years ago, but certainly no longer than that.

I think you're thinking of the hard on I have, (had Wink) for Val and IOR.

Yeah, you are a truly forgiving soul.  Kinda like I am.

That reminds me though that I still have a ShotCam somewhere...  I think.

I do too; but if it is to be used next day and the battery is already dead, that is an issue. And that is this issue.

Will let you know how the CS experience goes.
Serious issue.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.
