So with the announcement that the MK4 will be removed from the Civilian market and discontinued.
There are rumors that this is done ahead of a new replacement model being launched.

What would people like to see in a new MK4 to make it more competitive on the market?

Would love to see them upgrade to a 4x magnification and improve the FOV.
Would like to see models with mag ranges 1-4, 2.5-10 , 4-16, 5-20 and 6-24.
Would like to see options for both mil/mil and moa/moa a standard mil/moa and Xmas tree reticle offering.
Would like to see all first focal plane.
Illumination as standard.
Options for locking turrets.
The top model to cost less than $1500.

I think Leupold could really up there MK4 to make it more relevant to the market, have all the features found on Bushnells and Vortex and Burris offerings, with great glass found on the likes of the VX6/MK6 and the awesome FOV that the VX6 eye box produces. The market is pretty saturated in this range, but I do think there is space for a tactical Leupold scope under $1500.

Respectfully, Leupold has lost a lot of ground in the tactical market. A LOT.
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.
