I recently purchased a Rem 760 which came with a Redfield 3x9 4-Plex Accu Trac Wide View 200-600 scope. It doesn't seem like a scope for a 760 as it appears to have some type of ballistic reticle. I was trying to find out some info about. Is anyone familiar with this particular scope? What is the quality like as I am not familiar with the older Redfield scopes? Thanks.

If you see a deer, you bracket the deer in the two stadia lines up at the top, and then you crank up your scope's power ring until the deer's body ( chest ) fits into the two lines.  Then you read the distance in that tall, thermometer-type thing---because that will be shrinking down as you increase power....so what distance is at the bottom edge is your distance to target.

...on this photo the distance would be about 225 yards....

Redfields were decent scopes in the old days.  Most $200-300 scopes these days are optically better, however.

I have an older 3-9 Redfield Accu-Trac as well but the yardage numbers are about 5 o'clock to 3 o'clock at the bottom right.  Mine has (4) different caps, A-B-C-D to install on the elevation turret based on your bullet choice/velocity. If yours has a letter on it, I could tell you what the ballistics is based on the cartridge you're using from my chart.
