I would like to replace my old 2-peice base with a ken farrel base, however they only list bases for the mark 5 action, last time I just bought a 2-peice rem 700 base and they fit perfectly. now for the question, what one peice base will fit my gun?

I don't know, nothing indicated that though, warranty info looks like weatherby (mailing address). and it seems like every form of paper that came with the gun, including the box, is covered with weatherby propaganda. Usually there is some evidence that comes with the product that links to another manufacturer if there is one.

I'm fairly certain that the Vanguard and the Howa 1500 are one and the same. Gear for one should work for the other.......... |
