This is the calibre of choice for hunting rabbits in Ausie wormholes.

Charles, you and I are on the same page here. As it so happens, I'm planning a build very similar to that right now, also in 6.5 Creed. I currently have the exact same stock, inletted for the Badger bottom metal, and an 8-twist Sendero profile 22" barrel, except my barrel is a Bartlein, 5R. I plan to scope it with my SS 5-20. I don't have the action yet, but I too plan to use the Defiant Deviant w/ .062 firing pin. Haven't decided which trigger or mounts I'll get yet.

Maybe I'll get it finished by this time next year.

Charles, that is a very nice looking setup.  May it serve you well...

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I hope your rifle likes the new Hornady factory 140 better than mine did. They went from five rounds under dime, to over an inch... But I do have a box of projectiles to load up after shut-down season...
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

So the wormhole from Australia did not exit at the start.

Had a great day at the range with my new 6.5 Creedmoor.

The Hornady 140 ElDX, Winchester 140 match and Hornady 140 Amax all shot one ragged hole groups (and I am out of practice for shooting tiny groups) and all impacted within an overall 1/2 group.

First round hits out to 1k

I am digging this rifle.
