Conetrol is the best mount ever for patient people. I once had a gunsmith offer to let me have my rifle back with no charge if I would accept it without the scope mounted. I chuckled and asked him why he thought I brought it to him in the first place. Truly awesome mounts, though.

@urbaneruralite, lol funny story! I looked at their website and kinda had a hard time figuring out what I would need for my rig.

Conetrol are indeed outstanding. Elegant and superbly crafted. I didn't know George Miller died. Sad to hear that.

Yeah, the Conetrol website is dreadful... but their products are top notch. S&K mounts may be another choice to consider.
If we're not suppose to eat animals...how come they're made of meat?

Talley LW's are very nice in both function and finish. Strong too. I also like their traditional mounting systems. The first picture is of the rings and bases after they came back from W.E. Birdsong with their Black-T finish.
