Hi,
What is this: Can I unscrew that? If so - why? |

NO!!!!!
Don't unscrew it! It is probably the cover to where the nitrogen port is located, but it's nothing for you to mess with. (Guessing)

Nitrogen port is located at the bottom side of the ocular. There is a small sticker informing about that.

BEWARE...it's a tightly guarded secret that a spring actuated poison dart shoots out when you remove that cover.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Good question. It's never been discussed before, that I know of.
The 3-15x SS is one of the few SS scopes I have fooled with.

If you do remove it, your warranty is probably voided… but IF YOU DO, let us know what happens...

It is similar to the red streamer the natives tied to the poison darts used to shoot monkeys. When shot the monkeys would run off before they die. With the streamer the monkey will play with the streamer until the poison takes effect, then they die where they can be found.

That advise sounded like Jerry Seinfeld telling his Uncle Leo to open up a mail parcel that he thought was a bomb. |
