I have a reasonable understanding of parallax but I would like to understand it better. For example, which would show the most movement (or error) - a scope with a 75 yard parallax targeting a 30 yard target, or a scope with a 30 yard parallax targeting a 75 yard target? Thanks.

The most error is going to be shown with the scope set at 75 years and the target at 30. As the target gets further away, other things become the limiting factors.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I got a headache the first time I read it, but then again for me it´s a translation involved.

If one dissect only the passus of interest it´s easier.

I wish I´d read that info before I adjusted my first scope for parallax, nervously screwing the front-lens in and out, "I got it right but I didn´t know exactly why."

Then again - That´s the story of my life and a nice epitaph Wink
