Hey everyone, I'm needing help on selecting rings for a flat top ar. I'm mounting a 56mm objective swarovski with a 30 mm tube. Thanks for your time!

First choice:

Second choice:

Don't get just rings.  The rail on an AR is not long enough to get your scope as far foward as you need.  Get a mount that is designed for an AR.

The Aadland listed above, or Bobro, or American Defense are all very good mounts.

Do you have a budget you need to keep?  There are cheaper decent mounts as well.

Not necessarily a budget, but more along the lines of a little more affordable.

They are not a Bobro, but are a good inexpensive mount.

The caliber is 458 socom. I'm concerned about the mounts staying tight on the rail and scope.

I have the SSALT, currently on my 7.62x39… has been on my 6.5Grendel, 5.56, and fired a few rounds with it on my 378 Weatherby Magnum.  Your SOCOM will not produce the "moment of recoil" the 378WbyMag does.
No problems.  I like it better than BOBRO.

This is REALLY a good post. I have a SALT mount. It's decent, but I'd recommend one of the ones ST suggested.

+1 on the Bobro, I really really like mine.

I, however, do not care for BOBRO…  I just don't like the way they look.  They work fine.
