I have mounted my 10x42 on my AR using the standard medium rings and an extension to attempt to get the proper eye relief. Just aint far enough forward yet. Anybody have this scope on a AR with one piece mount that is working well? Don't really want to buy/try....buy/try....buy/try. I would rather spend my money on ammo.

I have the burris pepr mount and the Nikon P-223 mounts and they both seem to do well for less expensive equipment. The P-223 mounts (2 piece) are pretty light and they retail for around $40 as SWFA
Why do I carry a gun? In case some one needs to be shot.
