This will be my first FFP scope (Mil-Mil) so need help in deciding between Mil Dot & Mil Quad.

I guess my qeustions is: Does the hash between the Qaud represent half a Mil ?

Good choice, easily one of the better reticles available, especially if you hold for wind... There are numerous ways to break the reticle down, for both hold-offs and ranging.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

The scope was sold before I could purchase it. I'm going to place an order for a new one and wondered if I need to order a sunshade and mil dot master to help in the learning curb process?

Any other recomendations are welcome.

I ordered the SS scope with MQ reticle along with an accesseries kit so this should complete my long range budget build.

Thanks for the info.
