Vortex Optics Strike Eagle 1-6x24 Speed and versatility - that's what 1X Variable optics offer AR shooters who need to engage targets from point-blank out to extended ranges. And that's exactly what you're going to get with Vortex's new StrikeEagle 1-6x24. Take into consideration what it costs to get into this optic, and you may find you can't afford not to buy it.

Whether you're burning through a 3-Gun Stage, logging some range time, or holding for hair on coyote you've duped into thinking you're lunch, the Strike Eagle is up to the task. High quality, fully multicoated lenses deliver a clear, crisp sight picture and optimal low light performance. A true one-power on the low end of its 6X zoom range provides quick target acquisition in close quarters scenarios. Need to engage targets at distance? Crank it up to 6X and let it rip.

The illuminated, glass-etched BDC reticle subtends with popular .556 cartridges. Illumination dial is located on the left side of the turret housing and features eleven intensity levels to accommodate varying light conditions and shooting scenarios. An extra battery can be stored in the windage cap and released for use with the tip of a bullet. Reticle focus on the eyepiece ensures reticle appears tack-sharp. A raised rib on the magnification ring facilitates fast magnification changes in the heat of action.

Built on a 30mm one-piece machined-aluminum tube with hard-coat anodized finish for durability. O-ring sealed and nitrogen-purged for waterproof and fogproof reliability.

Top your AR with the Strike Eagle and wring out every last bit of its performance.

Available Summer 2015

Looks like it might be made in the same factory as Optisan CX-6  The specs are similar.

I am not convinced I like the reticle, but I will take a closer look at SHOT next week.

Interested in knowing what you think about it, ILya... though I do kind of like the looks of the reticle.

Maybe someday I can develop a "like" for Vortex... 280 MOA... are you kiddin' me???  Just WOW...  "you can't even dream that far"...

Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

Koshkin, is this reticle sort of like the GRSC reticle, or no?

No.

GRSC reticle is specific to FFP scopes.

This scope is SFP.

Odd subtensions… almost like an afterthought.  You're right… odd reticle… OK, I still don't care for Vortex...

I think it looks great. As long ss its good and tough. 3.5" eye relief should work well. Has the potential to become The scope on several of my rifles.
