I have a new RRA 16 inch AR with Midwest flip sights, front sight is on gas block.I am wanting a scope and mount that can be removed and reinstalled at zero. Thinking about a Bobro mount.I will be shooting at 25 out too 100 yards in daytime.Wanting to keep scope 400dollars or less.Thanks.

If the max shot is 100 yards, why scope it at all? Iron sights are great at the distances outlined.
If your budget is $400, a mount like the bobro or American Defense Recon mount could easily eat almost half that. Any thoughts on a red dot like the Burris XTS speed dot?

In that price range, I would lean toward something with an integrated mount. Otherwise, you will spend $200 on the mount and only have $200 left for the scope.
If you are OK with moderate magnification, consider something like this: On the other hand, if you do not need to remove the scope all the time, for $400 this package is as good as you are going to get: ILya

I am pretty sure he is saying he has $400 just for a scope. The mount is a separate cost.

I mean to spend $400.00 for the scope plus buying mount separate.I am figuring total of $650 to $700 total.

Get the slightly forward or extended mount. The regular won't work well. THe first pic is slightly forward bobro. THe second is extended.

Bobro is a great choice. I bought a used LaRue LT104 for my AR, then I bough bought a used more powerful scope that came with a Bobro. Sold the LaRue and bought a 2nd Bobro - love them.

I would put the Aimpoint 9000L in a LaRue mount and call it good. Bobro is also an option. Mine have all been LaRue. If your price range could stand it I would put a Trijicon 1-4 w red post on it or a compact ACOG 2X. There again the Ss 1-4 is less money.
