Deer hunting in NC. Most shots will be from 30 - 200 yards with the occassional one out to a max distance of 400. Which reticle would you prefer?

Neither... I like the #4 or variations of such. As a matter of fact, I just sent a Leupy VX3 in to the custom shop to have a duplex reticle replaced with the post & duplex reticle. More gooder... IMO.

I have the BRH in a Z3. It is one of my favorites.
400 yards probably puts you past MPBR, so the drop hashes could be useful.

The heavier crosshairs in the 4A reticle in my 3-9x36 are fantastic in low light.
