New shooter and seeking guidance.
I would like to reach out 300 yards for varmint, coyote and target shooting utilizing both .223 & 22 cal. Is there an optic that will work with a night vision device. I have been steered to a 4x32 with a 40mm / 50mm objective for normal conditions, but is there way I can marry this to a 2 gen. Night vision? Thanks from an inexperience shooter! |

Pvs 14 Night Vision with IR Generation 3 $1,900.00 Thermal Scope Night Vision Weapon Sight 35mm $4,499.00 Don't know if there is a set up like you mentioned but just hope you got some deep pockets. If you can afford it thermal is the way to go. Good luck and welcome to the OT. |

Budget?
Good night vision is not inexpensive, and inexpensive night vision is seldom good. Let me know budget and that will help. My guess is, given the 4X for day use, you are looking for a clip-on for night time use. What are the guns on which it will be mounted?

Mounting: Bushmaster AR-15, Mossberg 46M-B, Ruger 10/22.
Going between all three, but enjoy the Mossberg best. Like to spend about 1K most for standard optics....zeiss glass Like to spend about 2k for NV......along the lines of ITT products. Not familiar with thermals. Thanks in advance. |
