I was hoping someone here might be able to help me identify a pair of binoculars my father handed down to me. I have searched the web but haven't come across anything useful thus far.
The only visible marking is stamped around the eye pieces "MERRILL NEW YORK". I found a Robert Merrill who made boat compasses and the like but couldn't find anything in regards to binoculars. Also if anyone knows of any other binocular related forums I could check out in my search that would be appreciated. Thanks
