I bought a Swaro AV 4 x 12 x 50 about a year ago.  Recently, I have noticed a white "haze" along the edges of the scope. The haze pretty much goes full circle around the lense.  Is this normal for a Swaro?  Should I send the scope in to be checked out or is it just user error?

Thanks for the knowledge,

Brett.

That doesn't sound right.  Did you buy the scope from SWFA?  If so, definitely call them & describe the issue.  If not, call Swarovski.  They have great customer service & will take care of you if there is a defect.

I appreciate the reply.  I bought the scope at bass pro.  I just recently found this website and my next scope will probably be off the sample list.  I'll give swarovski a call later today, thanks.

Hi: This maybe normal if it only does it without the sun shade on. Try it with a sunshade and see if it goes away. I notice a what I was told a "milk glass" look in some of my scopes ie: 4-16x40mm Elite 4200 and a 8-32x44 Burris Signature series scope under certain lighting conditions without the sun shade.
Can you see me now...
