Does anyone have any knowledge of the Nikko Sterling brand?  Specifically the 1-10x24 C-more.  They look like a great value.  Are they too good to be true?

If you get a good one, they are very good… however, there have been QC issues.  One of our members, 338LAPUASLAP thought highly of one he had.  I had an acquaintence in South Africa who traded his Nikko Sterling on an NcStar and was much happier with the NcStar.
Caution is advised, but doesn't mean I wouldn't give one a try if it crossed my mind at the right time...

Thanks a lot.  I don't think highly of NcStar.  I have had two too many disappointments.  I was also looking at the Primary Arms 1-6.  I can find lots of reviews on the PA but not the NS.

NcStar is more inconsistent, in my experience, than Nikko Sterling.  The guy in SA could not get his Nikko to hold zero and it had poor low light performance.  He killed two leopards that were killing his cattle shortly after getting the NcStar… he could never get a decent shot with the Nikko.
I suggest you PM 338LAPUASLAP… he has the most experience with Nikko of anyone I know.

I put a Nikko Sterling on a sporterized SKS and I am really impressed with the scope's image and it's adjustments.
