When I first got into the art of shaving I ordered from West Coast. Whatever safety razor you use, try this pack and you will find a blade.  http://www.westcoastshaving.com/DE-Blade-Sampler-Pack-Extended_p_11.html
I don't know about the others, but my Jagger is solid and very well made.

I've gotten a few items from west coast so far, fast shipping and reasonable price with excellent selection.

Ditto.  But what makes the difference for me is very hot water and flannel followed by a badger hair brush with a soft hand soap to work up a good lather.  Really softens the beard and makes your skin slick.

I used to say to my wife:  Does John Wayne get up in the morning and say " Where's my .45?  I just shot somebody with it yesterday! "  ?

Hmmmm think I'd rather shoot myself with a .45.... Its a lot quicker, saves you money and is a hell of a lot less painful.....

Funny this topic came up. About 2 or 3 months ago, Mrs. BF couldn't find any Gillette Track II replacement blades, so she bought me a new razor. It was a Mach 3 or 4 or 5, anyway I tried shaving with it, and it was like trying to plow a 1 acre field with a 20 row plow. I just couldn't get into those tight places. Then she ordered a safety razor, a brush, soap, and a cup; I've been using it ever since. Now I don't know why I stopped using a safety razor.

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.

It is the same when you are stupid.

I HATE shaving!
I run around with a "scruff" of various lengths, not for a fashion statement, just because I despise shaving regular. I had enough of "mandated shaving" in the service. I keep my neck shaved every few days.

You all use shaving cream???? I haven't bought a can of shaving cream in 30 years. Hot water is all I use.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

Maybe that's why you hate to shave.

I can't stand being scruffy, it bugs the crap out of me. I don't mind having a beard, but to go a couple of days without a shave, and the beard starts to itch and tickle. Now if I can go a few weeks the beard softens up and is tolerable, but I have to keep my neck shaved.

I have to keep smooth due to the stupid dress shirt and tie  requirement at work.  The collar of my shirt will irratate the heck out of even the slightest stuble.

Banking besides law enforcement one of the few remaining professions that needlessly require ties and suits.... Loco
