The theme for April is "forgotten."

A picture of my head will surely win!
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

The theme is however you interpret the word "forgotten." I was envisioning something abandoned, left behind, remote, usually bypassed, overlooked, etc.

It could be virtually anything that time left behind, or something that's so remote or hidden that people rarely ever see it. Examples might be an old abandoned settler's cabin tucked away in the mountains, a partially exposed shipwreck, etc. There are really no wrong answers; it's all how you interpret the theme.

I thought it would be fun and challenging to get out and find stuff to take pics of that you normally don't see, off the beaten path, so to speak. Or, maybe your subject is in plain sight, but normally overlooked.

Some of those sorts of things can make for very interesting photos.
Ted

Got it.

Looks like, I will have to find a substitute, but I'm up for the challenge.

Interesting,  I don't have the camera to compete but there are old homesteads all over the place here back to the early 1800s

maybe give some thought to increasing the format upload capacity past 1mb, to at least 5mb, allowing for detail and color loss when compression occurs.

I got some junk that was dropped on my place a long time ago.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Nice pic Ted. Do we get a prize if we guess what it is?

Cool

I don't think that a pic can be googled so I'm totally in the dark.

Ted, I just looked at about 500 monument pics in Texas and each time I scrolled down I was saying to myself here it comes " WRONG ". I give up. How about someone else trying.
