Welcome to Optics Talk.

I looked, but failed to see a Pic rail for your rifle. DNZ and Talley make really good mounts for that rifle, I believe.
I've switched to Talley Light Weights from Pic rails the past few years.

With the. Scope I got also came with a Burris p.e.p.r ring-base combo but I've got to have the Picatinny rail to match what I've already got. I will try talley though only familiar with there triggers

Sorry, but I can't seem to hot link any more. These rings set you back $40 and are ROCK SOLID. No need for any more rail or rings, etc. They are an integral system and well loved by those here.

I think you may mean Timney triggers, instead of Talley?

A Pic rail with a PEPR will put your scope WAY to high on a bolt gun. Save your PEPR for a AR platform which is what it is designed for. Go with the Talleys (or other traditional ring/base combo) as they are correct for your application.
We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.

If you need to have a type of rail, the DNZ's are well thought of. Did you check out the link I posted??
Doesn't this work for the TC Venture?
