I recently was out hunting for the first time since I started wearing glasses. When I was at the blind, I had a hard time focusing in with my scope. My question is: Is there a particular scope that I should check in to for people who wear glasses?

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.
It is the same when you are stupid. |

Are they progressive bifocal lenses? If so, you will need to move a round to find the sweet spot.
If not, you need to adjust the focus. |

I wear tri-focals and I just can't use them with a scoped rifle. At my last visit to my eye doctor I asked about single lens glasses for shooting. He suggested that I try contact lenses. They work great for shooting. You might want to consider trying them. The disposable type are pretty cheap.

You might do well to consider a scope with a fast-focus adjustable eyepiece. This makes it easy to use both with or without your glasses (which can get fogged, misplaced or broken).
I wear glasses for distance vision, and have fast-focus eyepieces on all my riflescopes. My moment of clarity came when I was invited to take part in an informal target contest. I had my rifle (with a fixed focus scope), but my glasses were back in the cabin. It would have been an easy win. For safety's sake, I use binoculars (and not the scope) for spotting game that isn't close enough to clearly identify. Binoculars also have fast-focus capability.

I agree with Longhunter, get something with the ability to change the focus. I am farsighted and wear by bifocals even when out hunting. Adjusting the focus is not an ideal solution, as I sometines find I need to look over the edge of my glasses. Contacts don't work well for me so I do the best I can with glasses.
