I have a Pro Hunter that will not group a 3 shot group, I have tried different barrels and scopes , It was sent back to the company last week hope they can find the problem and fix it! Has anyone else had this problem? I have read lots of forums that has been nothing more than qualified as Tac Drivers..... Love to hear your input on this!

What caliber, twist rate and bullet weights are you using?

Also welcome to the OT!

I have 7mm-08 in the 28" stainless barrel don't know the twist
I have 243 in the same barrel don't know the twist of barrel on that

What it does seems like the scope is loose to me , 2 shots and next one might be completely off target or put it in safe and be dead on and next time shoot it will 6" low or high its all over the place! I've tried different scopes and barrels and its all the same .... The guy I talked too seems to think something is loose, I even tried oversize hinge-pin.

I wish I had a better answer.  My 30-06 seems to shot good with the Buckmaster and DNZ mount.  I'm getting ready to set up a .300 Win mag with a SWFA unit.

I take for granted that you've had the scopes on other rifles and they did ok. I am going by pics and ads I've seen cause haven't had hands on one yet. I've sold similar rifles with the same factory base and rings and I don't care for em too much. They are cheap and light weight compared to what you can get. But not being able to check your rifle myself I also take for granted that you are satisfied that the base and rings are ok. My question is how long have you had it and is this a problem you've had out of the box. If the scope, base and rings are gtg then we look at the barrel. Since Thompson Center has it I hope they will check the bore for rifling flaws or a damaged or burred crown. If you've had it for awhile and it shot good in the past and now this is something new. Then I suspect that the crown has somehow been damaged. The smith's at Thompson Center should find this and repair/recrown it. The only other thing I can think of is if you are shooting heavier bullets that the twist rate will stabilize. But, with the calibers you mentioned I doubt it. Let us know what the factory says and Good Luck with it.

Go to the bellm tc web page and read his info on head spacing, May not be the problem, but would be a good start.

http://www.bullberry.com/
Bullberry makes custom barrels with a special free floated fore end and they come with an accruacy guarantee.

TC barrels SUCK I've had a bunch of them never any that were really tight groups.

Also there are some aftermarket hingepins that are better.

The encore guns are fun to play with and it is nice to be able to change barrels but so far my most suitable TC barrel is the one for 50 cal musket.  I had really hoped the stainless 12 ga rifled slug barrel would be accurate but it wasnt the only other barrel I still have in rifles is .375 H&H and if I can ever get around to buying a truely accurate .375 H&H it will be gone.  In pistol I have 45-70 which is a hoot its just fun to see peoples expression when they touch that one off. The one Bullberry barrel I have is 44mag and its awesome. I would really like to pick up another Bullberry barrel sometime in a rifle caliber.

Now that you mention it I recall getting one back in 2011 that was stripped in two of the holes. Since it was new in the box we sent it back and they replaced it. Customer was happy so all was good. Never heard how it shot but it must have been ok cause haven't heard otherwise. Hope this gets you where you want t be for accuracy. Give us a range report if you get chance.
