...an advertising spot during the Super Bowl based solely on what they sell.  Spread the word.  I'm not watching, that's for sure.

Here is the banned ad:

I am not a football fan, so my opinion really does not matter.

However, for those of you who are, what say you?

As far as I am concerned NFL is a private organization and they have the right to accept or refuse advertising from anyone they want.

However, we are all private citizens here and we are free to support or not support organizations based on the decisions they make with advertisers.

NFL will not get a dime of my money until they make amends.  I will carefully look at who NFL advertisers are and avoid them to the best of my ability.

I will also make it known the best I can why I avoid them.

I can't stand any pro sports anymore.  Many of them are a bunch of ego maniacs who think they are hero's.  The amount of money they get paid to play a game is just plane crazy.  Pisses me off how they call games battles and wars and they players hero's.  Its just a game, not a war.

I have not watched professional sports for many years, as I refuse to support a bunch of people like many of them are.

While I'm not sure it's the best use of DD's money, they should have every right to air that ad. It's in no way offensive. Great response, BTW. Thanks for posting that SVT.

The NFL is a private organization, and they have the right to decide which commercials they play. I'm a private citizen and I have a right to watch what I want on TV, and how I spend my money (until Obama care came along). To the best of my knowledge, NO professional football, or basketball team has ever made a single red cent off of me, and it's had nothing to do with politics until now.

National sports organizations may be private (not quite, they are a franchise), but they are still open to public review. While they are not violating some law of capitalism, their advertising policies violate FCC laws, as pointed out in the NRA strip. When combined with the advertising polices of some of the major networks, (NBC's socialist agenda in particular,(progressives)) the suppression of information becomes an issue.
An even larger issue is why are they free from restrictions that apply to common folk. Steroid, HGH, and CNS stimulants, player injury protection, different set of criminal laws  use as an examples. Watching genetic anomalies perform the same feats year after year, blurs oblivion. No wonder people find the half time more entertaining.
sorry for the rant, but I have to go now, Time to set my Las Vegas Book for next week.
