any one tried the stainless thompson center bolt gun ,with the moa guarantee? it is just 499$ including t/c scope.it does a a detachable mag and has smith and wesson stamped on it. i was told that t/c is now owned by smith and wesson.anyway wondered how the rifle compared ?

I have a 223 model and it's very accurate , getting clover leaf groups at 100 .. Stock feels a little cheap
, but sure does shoot well |

Got the weathershield venture in a 308 and with hand loads at 100 yard I was able to achieve a 3 shot group with a CTC of .14 or .15" Covered all 3 shots entirely with a dime. Pretty danged impressive for a $400ish gun.
