Absolutely! A "thank you" isn't even sufficient!

Thank you for helping to preserve our Freedom.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Ditto what Ted said.  It's our responsibility to keep the next and future generations aware and indebted to our veterans incredible sacrifices.

Is too bad our commander in chief is so SPECTACULARLY unqualified to lead. I see it every day in exceptionally low moral today with our future veterans.
The first and original reluctant leader(George Washington) never sought the position but, did so because of his sense of duty when asked.

Without their sense of duty who knows where we be now, not in a good place that is for sure.

THANKS GUYS!!!!

As a Navy vet who was personally never really in harm's way _I_ salute the ones who were.

First of all, a salute to all who have served.

I heard on the radio this morning, that up until the early 70's about 3/4 of Congress had served in the military. Makes me wonder if it should be a requirement that you can't get elected President or to Congress unless you have served in the armed forces AND at no higher than rank than captain (or naval lieutenant). Furthermore, I have zero respect for politicians who try to use another family member's service, such as his father's, for political gain.
Reaction time is a factor...

A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in...and how many want out...

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for us...1-Jesus Christ
