" Is Anybody here fed up yet? " " If the Republicans are going to continue to lose, why don't we launch a new party? At least, it will be a Reliable party and, who knows, eventually, it might succeed. Losing an election is one thing....being betrayed and torpedoed is too much to put up with! " |

I agree totally. We need to vote these pathetic, spineless sell-outs out of office and vote in representatives that support the Constitution and our values... in the primary elections. Once the general elections take place, it's too late to try to transform the Republican party when our enemies are hell-bent on destroying everything that's good about America. It's exceedingly difficult to reverse bad legislation once the genie
gets out of the bottle. A growing % of our population gets used to
government dependency and the Democrats depend on this dependency class for votes. Those who are entrenched in government dependency will seldom ever vote to give up their
"entitlements" and earn their money and sustenance the hard way. They then pass on this lifestyle to their children and their children. The rest of us and our children and grandchildren who
work hard for a living will pay the price of increasing dependency for
the rest of our lives. That's a stiff penalty to pay for "sending a message" that's already too late to send.
In the general elections, even if we're left voting for the "lesser of two evils," we really need to vote against the Democrat. The harsh reality is, in our current election process, there are only 2 candidates that have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected. Even if the "non-Democrat" candidate sucks, he/she likely will still suck less than a modern Democrat candidate... if you value individual liberty, limited government, the 2nd Amendment, and Constitutional principles in general. Apathy and the belief "both parties are exactly the same" on our side got us Barack Obama. Those who stayed home during election day may think they sent a message... but the fact is, the establishment Republicans obviously didn't hear that message. They should have heard that message in the primaries so that we got better candidates in the general elections. Even the worst RINO is still light years better than Barack Obama. |

I don't believe it anymore, Ted. The Republican Party is not the same. Reagan has been gone for twenty-five years. I have been voting against Democrats my whole life. Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney were simply votes against Democrats. The Republicans have too many of these NOBODIES in their ranks. And WE THE PEOPLE---and Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz---are the ENEMIES of the Republicans! We are in Big Trouble. If TED CRUZ and Sarah Palin are THE ENEMIES then The People need to re-think the Republican Party. Because that means that WE THE PEOPLE are just 'nobodies' out here in Fly-Over Land. Imagine John Boehner running against Hillary. Where is that going? Does Texas even get a chance in the Primaries? Or is it already a done-deal by the time Texas gets to put in their two cents? |

I guess what I mean to say is that there are only TWO Parties left in America.....Washington DC and the TEA PARTY. And WE need to make it OFFICIAL.

I despise John McCain, Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, etc., but we got a few (damn few) good candidates representing us like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee precisely BECAUSE folks like us were fed up with the establishment and voted for these candidates who had a spine. The only way we're going to get more Ted Cruzes is for us conservatives who are mad as hell and give a damn about our country to show up and vote for candidates who really represent us. House Rep. Louie Gohmert, a family friend, and Jeb Hensarling are 2 other excellent conservative representatives from Texas who think just like we do and who fight these idiots.
Yes, the situation in DC looks grim... but we LOSE every single fight we voluntarily forfeit! The only way we can take our country back is to vote for the best candidate we can when we have a chance. Then, we need to let our voices be heard every opportunity we have. Being apathetic and bitching among ourselves will get us nowhere and get us more country club RINOs who are only slightly better than Democraps. Even if both candidates we have to choose from suck, I'll still take the slow road to despotism over the express lane, every single time. Barack Obama is the worst president we've had in the modern era. I don't know about ever, but if not the worst president of all time, I can't think of one who beats him out for that title. He's at least the most destructive president in my lifetime. As bad a candidate as Romney may have been, even on his worst day, he's a helluva lot better than Obama. We wouldn't have Obama today and all the bs that goes with him like Obamacare if so many of us conservatives hadn't sat on our collective asses on election day. That's a fact. Obama is on the verge of permanently destroying private insurance and forever ensuring we pay exhorbitant prices for less coverage under a socialist single payer system to forever more support people who won't work, unless something really drastic happens to derail it. We need to vote out every single RINO who compromised with the democraps. Elections do have consequences, doubly so when we have an opportunity to participate in them and waive our right to do so. |

Oh, I wasn't talking about waiving my right to vote. I'm talking about writing in Ted Cruz instead of casting a vote for whatever Liberal Lite the Republicans are going to pull out next.
I am sick of the Republicans taking The People for granted. What if the people don't vote for them anymore? As long as they assume that they are the Only Other Viable Party out there, it will take a thousand years to clean them up.

As long as our elections are structured the way they are, we don't really have a choice. Writing in a candidate is exactly the same as staying home on election day. It's the same as casting a vote for the Marxist. Voting for a 3rd party candidate is pretty much the same thing. Until our election process is restructured so that you can vote for a 3rd party candidate without risk of wasting your vote and then having another round to vote between the 2 candidates that get the most votes out of the 3, we're stuck with usually having to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I'm tired of holding my nose when I vote too. But the modern democrap party has gone hard left Marxist. There are no more conservative/moderate democrats left. That relic left with Zell Miller. The modern democrap party wants to turn America into Europe. They can do lasting damage to America that we can't undo. Our votes are the only things stopping them from achieving their socialist Utopia post haste.
We get more Ted Cruzes by showing up and voting for more Ted Cruzes in the primaries and midterms. If the Republican party won't change, we have to make them change when we have the chance to do so. During the general elections, we need to vote for whomever has a prayer of defeating the Marxists, even if the candidate wasn't our first or even last choice. It's all about mitigating the long-term damage until we can fight again. |
