Hi All,

I figured this was the best place on the web to find someone who might have a solution for me.

I was recently re-given a .243 Handi Rifle on a visit to my parents house. I'm eventually going to give it to my (future) kids, but in the mean time I would love to shoot her ( already got .243 dies on the way).

Long story short, as it sat in the gun safe for the last 10+ years the indicator ring on the AO came loose and was hanging on the front ring when we pulled her out.

It's an older (17+ years) Simmons Pro Hunter 4-12 x 40.

After I clean off the old glue residue with alcohol or goo-gone what is the best way to realign the indicator ring with the AO?

I threw a video up on Youtube in case my description wasn't good enough.

Thanks in Advance!

I turn it all the way down so its at its closest mark and then you'll be able to line that up with the smallest distance on the ring.

Can you elaborate on that a bit?

Thanks,
