Are the sample list products private sales or returns that are being sold?  If they are returns,  what warranty do they come with?  Thanks

you would probably have to contact SWFA for the details. they probably got a page somewhere with all the details of the sample list.

you could look through the samples list thread for what other folks say about the sample list items.

i am all ways hunting around the sample list for great deals and have bought a few "a" and "B" scopes. their descriptions seem very accurate to me.

i figure there is a short  inspection period and whatever the "brand" warranty is.

big name brands  like leupolds and vortexes are known for their lifetime warrantys.

others may not be so generous to second owners. so YMMV.

the minox ZA5 i got looked to be new and never mounted. it was a "A" class item. probably an open box or in store demo.

the vortex viper i got was a "B" and it looked to have been mounted as it did have some very faint ring marks. it did have one or two tiny scratches in the finish. it is close to but not quite as perfect finish wise as the "A" minox.

on the rifle though the "B" looks like a new scope.

they both function like any new scope would, for a big discount in price.

there are some really good deals on the sample list , you just have to bide your time and know what your looking for beforehand.

The SL is comprised of trade-ins, demos, discontinued models, etc. They are quality rated and SWFA prices fairly. Buy with confidence.

The Sample list is a great way to buy discounted optics that maybe were mounted on safe queens or maybe never mounted (demo A) the rest are mounted and used they work as they should and carry the manufacturers warranty if transferable.  To my knowledge no one has ever gotten burned as SWFA takes care of its customers whenever they can!!!...

The only buyer beware is once you buy off the SAMPLE LIST it is hard to buy retail...
