Nice the 20 in barrel should make it really handy.

I'm a fan of the 7mm-08, very handy caliber.

Will do.

I have never owned one, I have a 308, 243 and 22-250 but have never owned a 708

Going to start with the 120 TTSX load.

We will be hunting supressed this season the most with a 6.8 and 308 though.

My 7-08. It shoots pretty good. Someday, it will be trued and blue-printed. Not real sure if I going to keep it that caliber or go with 6 or 6.5mm caliber...
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Nice looker... I got a 7mm-08 for my daughter to hunt with, but shortly after that she decided she did not want to hunt.  I sold it, simply because I did not need it... It was a good shooter, though.  With 120gr ammo she was shooting 1/2MOA regularly.  She doesn't shoot at all, now.

I bought this rifle online but unable to pu at gun store, been delayed (put on hold).... Very strange since Ive bought a bunch of guns here in Oregon since I was a kid,,,,,just more political crap coming on gun laws, rules.
Anyway it ought to be a shooter, I just stole this picture online but its a Savage model 12 6.5 Creedmoor.
"FYI I revised the picture, first pic was not accurate"
I bought a Sightron III 6x24x50 moa2 scope for it as well.

It is a factory Remington 700, with a Mcmillian A-5. I bought the rifle used local, and the stock over on the Hide, also used. The scope is the new 3-15 SS.

I don't know if I've ever seen a 7mm-08 that wouldn't shoot. I use heavier stuff in mine. 168 gr VLD and R15. Vanguards, I believe, are made by Howa. Those may be the best bolt actions you can get in that price range.

My 7-08 just became very un-happy, since I heard the rumor that Hornady is suspending manufacture of the 162's! I am going to call them on Monday to confirm.

I have not had a chance to use it on game. I did not draw any tags this year. I believe that shot placement kills animals, not "super bullets". I have seen many 900 lbs steers lose their life to a well placed 22LR...
