If the reticle is mil-based, the formula for yards is: Target size in inches multiplied by 27.78 divided by the number of mils. I do not know the formulas for either meters or MOA.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

So  Mike  what do you do in SYRIA?   Is this the reticle on one of the russian made sniper rifles or what type of rifle is this on?    What can you tell us?  Can you post a photo of the scope and rifle?

When I found you are from Syria I became curious.
So tell us a little about Syria and what type work you do there.  What is life like for you there? Ive been to Lebanon and Egypt but never to Syria. So what can you tell me that is interesting, I know very little about the civil war in Syria, not even why there is a problem, someone said chemical weapons have been used, is that true?

Scopes like that are designed to work correctly with a specific caliber it takes more info that you have provided to figure it out.  A photo of the markings on the scope can provide info regarding manufacturer and model -- it may not even be matched to a M4 rifles balistics.

!. Why the hostility?
2. <_
3. With the info of just a picture of the reticle and no info on the distance between the marks there is no way we can tell you how to range with this reticle.

hahahaha ....life here is like hell ....chemical weapons have been used more than once and in many places

so about the scope ...i thought it's like the mil-dot or like the svd pso1 ....i don't want to hold-over or hold-under ...all what i want to do is range estimation so how the balistics would effect ??

Better to use a rangefinder, using a reticle to rangefind takes a lot of practice even with a good one that has known values.  The marks look too far apart for a 3-9.
I guess if all you want to know is a distance then what bullet doesnt matter.   Do you have a slide rule to do the math on?

I have seen reticles like that on anti-tank weapons like the 106mm recoilless rifle.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

WE fight for freedom in Syria .... i don't know how you see it but we are not Terrorists or religious fanatic .... I am not even a Muslim ..but we are civilians so we don't know how to use weapons I read a lot about sniping MOA,MILS,Ballistics but there still more and more to learn .

so in Syria we die trying to get freedom and the whole world just watch us get killed .

It's really hard to know what is going on so far away, we dont always trust what our news says to be true, so it seems better to ask.  Before this started what type of work did you do? Your english seem very good did you study here in the US?
