So I have been in need of a new scope for a .270 and found a NIB (still in plastic) burris signature select 3-10X40. I got this on a closeout price due to it no longer being offered.($289)
I have no experience with the select line of scopes. I have been told they are very sturdy and optically equivalent to the conquest, vx-III class. Is this true? Did I get a good deal at $289? |

I had one a few years ago. It was solid and quite decent optically. IMO, you did fine. It will get the job done. Congrats.
